Article writing is still considered by most the best free method of generating traffic to a website. There are however two ways this can be.

1. The first method is writing for the search engines-Google the preferred target.

This is capable of driving a torrent of traffic to your site when their visitors click on the link in your signature

Articles written naturally are usually of much higher quality and the author may achieve authority status with such writing. In the long run, if such an author churns out several articles, such articles will eventually be indexed by search engines. It also due to the fact that such articles tend to be accidentally rich in long tail keywords which are picked by the search engines.
